Activities at Grange Rifle and Pistol Club
Fullbore Section
The Fullbore rifle section runs a twice monthly trip to the Altcar rifle ranges in Formby. This is run on alternate Sundays. Distances of 100m, 200m, 300m, and 600m can be shot. If you wish to attend, check the dates below and turn up at the club premises before 11am. For members wishing to use club guns, we have several available in .223, .308, and .303. Ammunition is also available to purchase on the day. Please make sure you read the paragraph below regarding certification cards.

Certification Cards
From 1st January 2009, each civilian shooting on an MoD range is to carry a certificate of safety and competence signed by the chairman of a club of which you are a member and which is affiliated to the NRA, stating that you are safe and competent to use the type(s) of firearm concerned. Grange Rifle and Pistol Club can supply these certificates to its members. You cannot shoot on a MOD range or Bisley without such a certificate unless you are supervised on a one to one basis by an experienced member.
